Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - Summer

Hello!  Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.  Today I am actually sharing a layout that we did for the make & takes at our last crop.  Our theme this month for the blog hop is Summer.  And to me, nothing says Summer like flowers!  And as an added bonus, for once I have photos.  These are my beautiful niece, Emme (or as Bentley refers to her, his "Baby Emme"--he argues with his Uncle as to whom she "belongs" to, and will correct anyone that calls her Emme and not Baby Emme, thankfully...

Stamp & Create Team Spotlight: Amanda Farlinger

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I have a card to share with you from my partner with Crop Kingston, Amanda Farlinger.  This sweet card was one of our make & takes at the Crop last weekend, and it uses this weeks product of the week, the Magnolia Lane suite: And here is Amanda's card.  I love that she used some of the flowers from the designer series paper instead of stamping more.  It's always good to get as much use as possible from the paper! Perfect for birthdays, but this would definitely be easy to use for multiple different occasions! You...

Hello

Hello! Welcome back!  I hope you had a great weekend.  Amanda and I had a great time at the crop on Saturday, and yesterday my little family celebrated Bentley's (official) 4th birthday!   This week I am sharing projects using the Magnolia Lane suite.  This suite is stunningly beautiful. I am showing the suite bundle in the photo above, but everything is available separately or you can purchase the stampset and dies in a bundle. At the crop, we made 4 different make & takes.  This was the 3D project I designed for this month.  I love these pillow boxes for...

Birthday Owl

Hello! Welcome back! Today I have one last card to share using the Check You Out stampset!  This one is simple, but I like it.  Sometimes simple is good!   To make this card: 1.  Start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Smoky Slate card base.  Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Highland Heather cardstock.  Stamp the background in Highland Heather using the Buffalo Check stampset.  Adhere to the card base. 2.  Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".  Stamp the books in Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo, and Coastal Cabana.  Adhere...

Starting a new Chapter

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I have another card using the Check you Out Stampset.  I took a page out of yesterdays card and created my own background for the card base. This would be such a cute card for someone starting a new job or new school!  To make this card: 1.  Start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base in Flirty Flamingo.  Stamp the heart and congratulations on the card base in Flirty Flamingo. 2.  Cut a piece of 3" x 4 1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and set aside.  3.  Cut a piece of 2...
