Swap Card Spotlight - Leanne Livingstone

Hello! I hope you are having a great week!  Today I have a card to share from my friend and fellow demonstrator Leanne Livingstone.  Funny story, Leanne made these super sweet cards to announce the arrival of her first grandson--but baby was playing a trick and the umbilical cord caused some "incorrect" photos, and baby was a girl.  So then she had to start from scratch!  Regardless they are super cute! Isn't it super sweet?   To purchase the supplies to make this card, click on the product links below or go to lisahenderson.stampinup.net Enjoy! Print Recipe Product List Baby Pull...

Swap Card Spotlight - Diane Inkster

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you from my friend Diane Inkster!  I love how she made the background for this card--and let's face it, you know I love the elephants! I love how she used the crackle background stamp to create the card base.  It reminds me of sand that is so dry it cracked. To create this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.  Stamp the crackle background in Crushed Curry ink...

Aren't the elephant's sweet?  To make this card, start with a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.  Cut a piece of the 4" x 5 1/4" green designer series paper (now discontinued, but I'm sure you have something that will work!), and stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner.  Punch the moon & stars from the top right corner. ...
