Swap Card Spotlight - Diane Inkster
Posted by Lisa Henderson on

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you from my friend Diane Inkster! I love how she made the background for this card--and let's face it, you know I love the elephants! I love how she used the crackle background stamp to create the card base. It reminds me of sand that is so dry it cracked. To create this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Stamp the crackle background in Crushed Curry ink...

Hello! Welcome back! Today I have a card we did a while back for one of classes. I love how this turned out--the Tufted Embossing folder is one of my favourites for Baby cards! Aren't those elephants gorgeous? To purchase the supplies to make this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss with the Tufted Embossing Folder. Wrap the linen thread around the...

Hello! Today I have another sweet baby card to share with you from one of my team members, Patty LeCollier! Aren't the elephant's sweet? To make this card, start with a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of the 4" x 5 1/4" green designer series paper (now discontinued, but I'm sure you have something that will work!), and stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner. Punch the moon & stars from the top right corner. ...

Welcome Little One

Hello! Welcome back! Today I have a sweet & simple new baby card to share. This one is super easy, and I kept it fairly gender neutral with the purple. I love the sentiments and sweet images in the Witty-cisms stampset! To make this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Purple Posy cardstock, cut & score at 4 1/4". Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock, and emboss with the Parisian Flourish embossing Folder. Adhere the embossed piece to the card base. Diecut the purse strap and the scalloped oval from...
