Starting a new Chapter

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I have another card using the Check you Out Stampset.  I took a page out of yesterdays card and created my own background for the card base. This would be such a cute card for someone starting a new job or new school!  To make this card: 1.  Start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base in Flirty Flamingo.  Stamp the heart and congratulations on the card base in Flirty Flamingo. 2.  Cut a piece of 3" x 4 1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and set aside.  3.  Cut a piece of 2...

Creating your own designer series paper

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Today I have a card to share that I made for my last library class in August.  I love how it turned out!  I also used the stamps to create my own designer series paper--lots of fun, and you get the colours that you want! Isn't that bookworm so cute!?!  I had to stamp and cut out his bowtie (and colour it), but it was worth it! To make this card: 1.  Start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Crumb Cake Card base.  Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock and adhere to the card base.  Cut a piece of 3...

Stamp & Create Team Spotlight: Vicki Brooks

Hello!   I know it's Saturday, but I have one last card to share with you using the Come Sail Away bundle!  This one comes from one of my team members, Vicki Brooks! I love all the layers she added!  Layers are one of my favourite things on a handmade card, but I admit sometimes I don't do them simply to save time.   Thanks so much to Vicki for sharing!   Remember, you can pick up the supplies for this card in my online store at www.lisahenderson.stampinup.net. Have a great weekend! Lisa
