Instructions

Step 1: In your kit, there will be 6 cardstock/paper pieces for the assembly of your card. Start by stamping your Thick Basic White Cardstock circular tag using the Classic Stampin’ Spot Small Assortment 1 (Cloud Cover Ink) and the textured stamp provided. This will be behind your wording. Now, stamp the wording onto your tag, and the branch colour onto your branch shape using the word stamps, branch stamp and the Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin’ Pad. Put your stamped pieces aside to dry while building the first few pieces of your card.

Step 2: Place the largest white cardstock piece in front of you with the largest section on your right hand side. Keep it in this orientation while you work. Fold the small section over the larger one, covering just a portion of the larger section. Now, on the section that is folded over, glue the light blue paper with cross hatch design, centered, so there is an even border of white showing.
Step 3: Taking the next piece of rectangular white cardstock, hold it horizontally, and paste it using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals so that only the left half of the card is glued on. Check the above photo for reference, if needed. Now, glue the darker blue piece onto the white one you just placed, with tear and tape adhesive, so that it is centred with even white borders.
Step 4: On the right hand side of the paper you just glued on, attach your white circle label so there is an even border around it on the top, bottom, and right hand sides. Now, on the left side, glue your “branch” piece, so the stem and right branchlet hug the curve of the label as in the photo, and the rest of the branch sweeps across the left side of the card.
Step 5: Once you are finished assembly of your card, scatter a few of the provided Faux Bronze Pentagons across the message portion in a pattern you like.

Pro Tips

Stamp your pieces ahead of gluing, to give the stamp a headstart on drying. Use a bone folder to create crisp folds.
