Instructions:

Step 1: In your kit, for each card, you will find one 5 ½” x 10 1/8” piece of white cardstock, one 5 ¼” x 4” white cardstock, one 2” round label, one 2 3/8” “Old Olive” label, one 2 ½” x 5 ¼” piece of “Cute as a Bug” mushroom paper, three 1 ¼” x 5 ¼” pieces of plaid paper, and one ¾” x 5 ¼” plaid paper.

Step 2: Place the large scored white piece of cardstock on the table in front of you, with the largest section to your right-hand side. Now, fold all scores inwards so that you create a rectangular tube, the far left-hand edge of the card tucking in against the far right-hand score. Glue the connected surfaces.
Step 3: Next, add the ink so that it has time to dry. Take your 5 ¼” x 4” white piece and stamp it with the words “Love You Lots” about 1/3 of the way from the top and the 3-mushroom stamp using the “Pecan Pie” stamp pad, about 1 ½” from the bottom. Then colour in the mushrooms using the “Pecan Pie” and “Old Olive” watercolour pencils. On your 2” round white label, stamp the words “Hello Friend” with the “Early Espresso” stamp pad, and the image of the cricket you see on the example above, using the “Pecan Pie” stamp pad. Again, colour these in with the “Pecan Pie” and “Old Olive” watercolour pencils. Put these aside to dry while working on the rest of your card.
Step 4: Now, take the base of your card that you already glued, and add the 2 ½” x 5 ¼” mushroom paper to the largest inside section, making sure it is centered on that section.

Step 5: On the three smaller sections, glue your three pieces of equal sized red plaid paper to the three equal sides of your rectangular tube, making sure they are each centered.

Step 6: Next, flip your card over so the back is facing up. Take the white piece that you stamped the mushrooms onto, and glue it to the back of your card, centred, then glue your smaller strip of red plaid paper across the bottom, leaving a small space between it and the bottom of the white stamped piece.

Step 7: Back to the front of your card, open up the rectangular tube, and on the middle plaid section, about ½” or so down from the top edge of the card, glue on the “Old Olive” circle, centered, then centered on that one, the white circle that you stamped earlier. Lastly, add a couple of yellow “Muted Palette Dots” to your white circle to add a little extra!

Pro Tip: Lay out all of your pieces ahead of time (See the list, Step 1, of what your kit should include). Use a bone folder to fold your main card flat where it is scored.
