It's Your Birthday!

Hello!   Welcome back!  Today I am still featuring the We'll Walrus Be Friends Stampset: Cute right?  Today I have a card that was inspired by a package made by Tanja Richter.  I loved that she had added sea element behind the walrus and had used the birch stamp to create a background. Look how cute that little face is!  I used some of our puff paint to create the foam on the waves. And I love how the Pretty Peacock colour looks!  To make this card: 1.  Cute a piece of the Pretty Peacock cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11". ...

I Will Walrus Be Your Friend!

Hello! Welcome back!  This week I have been featuring the We'll Walrus be Friends Stampset, and I have another sweet card to share with you.  Check out this super cute stampset: Cute right?  Today I have a card to share with you that was inspired by a card by Helene den Breejen.  I loved what she came up with, but of course I needed to make it my own!  Here is my take: Cute, right? To make this card: 1.  Cut a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  Score and fold at 4 1/4" to create...

Ready or not....

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I have a quick and cute card to share with you that we made at the August kids card class at the library.  The kids had a blast and they had many different coloured walrus' but I kept mine simple ;) You could easily do this with blends or the watercolour pencils, but I used the Stampin' Write markers to keep things simple with the kids class. To make this card: 1.  Cut a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of thick white cardstock.  Score at 5 1/2" and fold to create a 4 1/4" x 5...

I Will Walrus Be Your Friend!

Hello! Welcome back!  Yesterday I mentioned that I purchased the We'll Walrus Be Friends stampset for scrapbooking, and today I have a layout to share with you!  Here's a quick look at the stampset: Cute right?  I didn't have a ton of time to make a layout when I did this one (and I might be 1000s of photos behind!!!), so I kept this one fairly simple.  But I'm happy with how it turned out. Let's just say someone found the Washed Ashore Art Exhibit that was taking place while we were at the Toronto Zoo.  It was pretty spectacular...

Ready or Not....It's Your Birthday!

Hello! Happy Monday!  We were extremely fortunate to have Dale, the Canadian Demonstrator Development Manager attend our team meeting last night!  I'll have more on that later this week.   This week, I am featuring the stampset, We'll Walrus Be Friends.  I love this stampset, it's stinkin' cute! When the annual catalog was released, this was on my must have list (possibly because we'd just gotten back from the Toronto Zoo and I knew I could make use of the stampset for scrapbooking!!) Today I have a card that I had made for the last Little Stampers class at Shop &...
