Hello! Welcome back! I hope you are all having a fantastic long weekend! It's been a long time since I've shared a scrapbook layout, so I thought today may be a good time! This is one I created a while back, I love the Pretty Peacock and Rococo Rose colours together!!! Aren't those two colours beautiful together? Probably not something I would have done on my own, but Stampin' Up! lists the colours on the package making it easy to create colour coordination that you might not think of otherwise! To make this layout, start with 2-12x12 piece of...

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you from my friend Diane Inkster! I love how she made the background for this card--and let's face it, you know I love the elephants! I love how she used the crackle background stamp to create the card base. It reminds me of sand that is so dry it cracked. To create this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Crushed Curry cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Stamp the crackle background in Crushed Curry ink...

Hello! Welcome back! Today I am taking part in the Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop. This month, because all our favourite papers are retiring, we are showing them off! I chose the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper for my project. When I first got this paper I focused far too much on the "A" side, the side that features the makeup, shoes and purses. I don't know how I missed it, but the "B" side are all amazingly gorgeous watercolour flowers! So today, I have a fun fold card to share with you, specifically to show off these...

Hello! Welcome back! Today I have a card we did a while back for one of classes. I love how this turned out--the Tufted Embossing folder is one of my favourites for Baby cards! Aren't those elephants gorgeous? To purchase the supplies to make this card: Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss with the Tufted Embossing Folder. Wrap the linen thread around the...

Hello! Today I have another sweet baby card to share with you from one of my team members, Patty LeCollier! Aren't the elephant's sweet? To make this card, start with a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of the 4" x 5 1/4" green designer series paper (now discontinued, but I'm sure you have something that will work!), and stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner. Punch the moon & stars from the top right corner. ...
