Hello!

Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop.  This month, because all our favourite papers are retiring, we are showing them off!  I chose the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper for my project.  When I first got this paper I focused far too much on the "A" side, the side that features the makeup, shoes and purses.  I don't know how I missed it, but the "B" side are all amazingly gorgeous watercolour flowers!  So today, I have a fun fold card to share with you, specifically to show off these flowers.

My team member, Tanya Noyes, showed me this fun fold the first time, and I love it.  So simple, but not something you see in mass production cards!  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s product giveback for COVID-19.  All proceeds from the .pdf go to charitable organizations that are supporting efforts against COVID-19.

To create this card:

Cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and to 2 3/4" x 8 1/2".  Score and fold the 2 3/4" x 8 1/2" Blackberry Bliss cardstock at 4 1/4" to create the 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" centre panel.  Cut a piece of the Old Olive dotted Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  Cut a 2 1/2" x 4" piece of the floral Designer Series Paper and Whisper White cardstock.  Adhere the floral to the front of the centre flap and the Whisper White to the inside of the centre flap.  Adhere the centre flap to the middle of the back panel.

Print the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock, and punch out with a 1 1/2" circle punch.  Punch a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock with the Story Label Punch.  Adhere the sentiment circle to the story label punched shape.  Add the Gold Gilded gems.  Adhere the layered sentiment to the centre panel using dimensionals to finish the card (make sure that you only add dimensionals to one side).
