Happy Monday everyone!
Today, we have this super sweet card from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Shauna Mikuliak. It has such a stunning finish, with all of its little details tying the whole project together.
Everything about this card is so intentional and polished; it’s truly a wonder to look at! To begin, I love the colour coordination between the teapot, flowers, and the border of the card - it gives the receiver such a whole and complete feeling. I also love the variety of materials and textures used in this project.
The smooth white cardstock gives a wonderful buttery feeling, which is contrasted with the textured background created by the Timeworn embossing folder. This creates a beautiful and sophisticated look with the scalloped edges of the white center paper. To balance this out, Shauna added a little twine bow, which adds a little roughness and casualness to the otherwise fancy card. Finally, the little brass butterflies seal the deal by adding the little bit of shine and flair the project needed. Thanks so much, Shauna for sharing such a stunning and well balanced card with us. It is perfect for any occasion and I’m sure I will be recreating it some time!
