Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the new blog & store! I am sorry it has been so long. My website builders at Sadlowski Consulting are awesome, but with returning back to work from maternity leave, and trying to juggle full time work, running a business and being a mom, I have been more than a little behind. But I am working through it! You will see more added to the store over time, and I'm hoping to blog here regularly. I decided to launch the website while still uploading products so that I could show you some Christmas products while the Year End Closeout sale was still on!
I thought that I would start with one of my favourite cards--and favourite Christmas songs! Star of Wonder, Star of Night:
This card was based on one that I had seen on facebook. Unfortunately, I don't have a name to put with it, but this is a simplified version--mostly because as I was building it, I realized that it was pretty complex for my standard card class (where we make 8 cards--2 each of 4 designs). So this is the final result, and I still love it!
To start, stamp the swirls in the background in versamark. Sprinkle on white embossing powder, and heat set.
Stamp the sentiment on the banner in Smoky Slate, and the stars in Pool Party.
Die cut the stars and notch the banners, and then assemble!
