Welcome Little One

Hello!

Welcome back!  Today I have a sweet & simple new baby card to share.  This one is super easy, and I kept it fairly gender neutral with the purple.

I love the sentiments and sweet images in the Witty-cisms stampset!

To make this card:

Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Purple Posy cardstock, cut & score at 4 1/4".  Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock, and emboss with the Parisian Flourish embossing Folder.  Adhere the embossed piece to the card base.  Diecut the purse strap and the scalloped oval from the purple posy cardstock.  Cut the purse strap down to 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base. Stamp the image in Memento Black and die cut using layering ovals dies.  Colour the image using the blends (tip-colour in small areas.  start with the light blends, highlight with the dark, and recolour with the light to blend).  Adhere the stamped oval to the scalloped oval.  Adhere the layered ovals to the card base using dimensionals to finish the card.
