Hello!
Today I have a card to share with you from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Diane Inkster!
Don't you love that ornate frame?
Don't you love the sentiment? And how perfect is this card for Easter? To make this card:
Cut a piece of the So Saffron cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" to create a card base with a fold on the top. Cut a piece of the Mossy Meadow cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base. Cut a piece of the Whisper White cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5" and stamp the flower from the Band Together stampset in Memento. Use the reinker and aquapainter to watercolour the flower (I use a combination of one or two drops of reinker to about 3 drops of water--too dark, add 1 drop of water; too light, add 1 drop of reinker, I find better too light (you can always add another layer), then too dark). Add a second layer of ink to the darker areas. Once dry, adhere to the card base.
Diecut the So Saffron label, the Mossy Meadow label, and the Whisper White oval using the Band Together Dies. Stamp the sentiment in Memento. Adhere and layer the three labels together. Adhere the stack of labels to the card base using dimensionals.
