Hello!
Welcome back! Today I have a swap card to share with you from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Celia McDiarmid! Confession time - this swap is well over a year old. I had so many swap cards (which I LOVE), that I didn't get this one posted--and a few others that I'll be posting this week. But I am posting them anyhow. This one, is gorgeous, and only the patterned paper and ribbon is discontinued, and they could be easily substituted!
See, worth sharing, right?
To create this card:
Start with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. Score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Pear Pizzazz cardstock and emboss it with the Layering Leaves embossing folder. Adhere to the card base. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper to 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the layered card base.
Die cut the scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals dies in Blackberry Bliss. Die cut the oval from the Stitched Shapes in Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the dandelion from Dandelion Wishes in Crumb Cake on the Stitched Oval. Stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss. Adhere the stamped oval to the scalloped oval. Add the rhinestone to the centre. Adhere a piece of the ribbon that is approx. 5" long to the layered card base. Add the layered ovals to finish the card using dimensionals.
