Hello!
Today, I have a card to share with you full of bright sunshiney pineapples! This was the first card I made using the Timeless Tropical stampset--I had wanted to give my team practice using the Stampin' Write markers to ink stamps. Admittedly a background may have been a bit ambitious!
Don't you love the tropical feel? To make this card:
Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock, score and fold at 5 1/2" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, emboss with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. Adhere to the front of the card base. Cut a piece of 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Crushed Curry cardstock. Cut a piece of 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the pineapple randomly over the piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Crushed Curry and Shaded Spruce Stampin' Write markers (use the brush trip of the markers to colour the stamp before stamping down--start with crushed curry to avoid getting green on the marker tip), stamp 3 times before reinking. Adhere to the Crushed Curry piece, and adhere both to the layered card base. Cut a 1" x 4 1/4" piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark, sprinkle on embossing powder and heat set. Adhere to the layered card base using dimensionals. Add the Tropical Oasis trinket to finish the card.
