Hello!
Welcome back! Today I have a layout that I created for our retreat back in February. It was such a great weekend, I would love to be there now!
Perfect for vacation photos (and although we may not be going on vacation this year, if you are anything like me, you have TONS of vacation photos from years past!).
To make this layout:
Start with the 2 piece of brown designer series paper. Cut 2 - 6" x 12" piece of the green designer series paper, and adhere about 1 1/4" from the top of the page on both sides. Cut 2 - 6" x 12" pieces of the Birds of Paradise Designer Series Paper and adhere to the right side of one layout and left side of the other (centre of the double page layout). Cut 2 - 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" and 2 - 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" photo mats in Whisper White cardstock. Adhere the photo mats as shown so that the bottom of the photos mats is approx. 1/4" below the green designer series paper, and about 1/4" between photo mats.
Cut 1 - 2" x 4" piece of Old Olive and another from Soft Suede cardstock. Punch the top with the tag topper punch and add twine thru the top. Adhere the Old Olive tag to the bottom of the right side layout, tucked under the edge of the photo mat. Adhere the Soft Suede tag to the top of the left side layout, tucked under the edge of the photo mat. Die cut the following pieces: Daffodil Delight cardstock - pineapple base, aloha; Old Olive cardstock - pineapple leaves x 2, leaf; Poppy Parade - flowers. Adhere diecuts to layout as shown. Sprinkle on sequins to finish the layout.
