Welcome back! Today I have a simple Christmas card to share with you, using this weeks product of the week, Playful Penguins.
These penguins are a ton of fun, and I couldn't stop playing with them!!! Once you start cutting them out, it's hard to stop.
Don't you love the coordinating scarf and hat?
To make this card:
1. Cut a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in the top left corner in Seaside Spray. Adhere to the card base.
2. Diecut one of the nested labels dies (pick one that is slightly smaller then the penguin) in Seaside Spray. Cut off the one end.
3. Stamp the penguin in Memento on Whisper White. Stamp the toque and scarf in Seaside Spray on Whisper White. Cut them all out using the snips (tip: leave a small edge of white as you are cutting for a "pro" look, it also makes it easier!). Adhere the penguin to the label. Adhere the hat and scarf to the penguin. Adhere the layered piece to the card base using dimensionals.
4. Cut an approx. 3" piece of the ribbon, fold in half, add adhesive on one end, and tuck under the label.
5. Add metallic pearls.
