Global Stamping Friends - Step It Up Blog Hop

Posted by Lisa Henderson on

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back!  Today I am taking part today in the Global Stamping Friends blog hop, and today we have a Step It Up Challenge for you!  This is something that doesn't come easy for me, but I think I made it work!

My first, more basic card is this one:

Fairly simple, but pretty.  My second step is this one:

This one, I stepped up by putting a second die cut layer under the butterflies (diecut from patterned paper), added the shaded spruce swirls, and added a gem to the sentiment.

My third one is actually my favourite.

This one is stepped up a bit more from the first one (I wasn't in love with the second butterfly layer on this card!).  This time, I added a second rectangle and the leaves in the shaded spruce, more jewels, and ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping in!  Make sure you stop and check out everyone else's projects as well!

  • Amazing cards! The 2nd is actually my favorite. The all show a good progression level of skills.

  • Simply beautiful card designs. Love the way you have used the designer series paper. :)

  • All three cards were simply beautiful. That die cut works so well that it’s almost not necessary to do anything else with it. I liked the double layering of the die cut on your second card. Using the DSP really added something special. Thanks for sharing.

  • Beautiful cards. I actually liked the second card with the DSP behind the butterflies.
