Welcome to everyone, and a special welcome to those that are here from the Design it with Designer Series Paper International Blog Hop! I love seeing the projects from this group!
This month, we are featuring the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper. You may recall a few weeks ago I actually featured this paper with other projects--but I love it so much, I was more than willing to create some more (and check back to Monday and Wednesday's post for even more!)
This paper is so much more beautiful in real life! And I was able to combine it with the Accented Blooms stampset that I am featuring as this weeks product of the week!
I *might* have also combined it with the Stampin' Blends--I am telling you they are addictive they are so much fun!
Here's my full layout, with a photo of my little sister and my dad at her wedding:
Now, you may have noticed that the flower stamp is actually reversed. There is actually a technique for that, and I am so impressed with how well it turned out!
To do this, ink the stamp, and stamp it on the silicone sheet (the Stampin' Up! one is smooth, which you need for this technique).
Next, rub your piece of paper over the stamped image. This will reverse your image.
Perfect right?
