Welcome back! Today I have a double page scrapbook layout to share that I made for our last scrapbooking class. I love how it turned out, and it features this months product of the week, the Come Sail Away suite.
I loved being able to use the stamps and dies to create added detail and dimension to this layout!
And the trinkets. And the designer series paper. They all work so well together!
I love being able to do double page layouts. It helps with the cohesiveness of my scrapbooks so much!
To create this layout, start with 2 piece of 12x12 Whisper White cardstock. Cut a piece of 10x10 and a piece of 9x10 of the light blue lighthouse paper, and adhere to the cardstock starting at the centre seam with the 10x10 piece on the right, and the 9x10 on the left. Cut a 1 1/2" x 9" piece and a 1 1/2" x 10" piece of the striped paper and adhere across the bottom of the lighthouse paper. Cut a piece of 3x9, and a 3x3 piece of the night of navy compass paper and adhere with the 3x9 on the left, and the 3x3 on the right above the striped piece. Cut a piece of 2" x 4" piece of balmy blue cardstock and punch with the tag topper on one end. Cut another piece of Balmy Blue cardstock to 3" x 5" and adhere above the right piece of the night of navy compass paper. Cut the photo mats from Whisper White cardstock: 2-4 1/4" x 6 1/4" and 4-3 1/4" x 4 1/4". Adhere to the layout as shown. Adhere the tag to the left of the 4-3 1/4" x 4 1/4" photo mats and add the braided linen trim to the tag. Adhere the anchor trinket to the bottom right. Stamp the ships, lighthouse and sentiment in Night of Navy on Whisper White cardstock. Die cut the stamped images and adhere to the layout using a combination of tear tape and dimensionals to create dimension. Add the wheel trinket to the top right. Add photos to complete your layout!
