To see far is one thing...

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Today I have a card to share that I made for the OnStage Displays that I did back in April.  This card uses this weeks product of the week, Lilypad Lake.  It also uses one of my favourite products, Brushos.  Brushos are intense watercolour powder that react when water is added.  The other bit of fun is that you can also control the colour somewhat by using an aquapainter to move the watercolour around with water. I also love this sentiment!  Once the brushos is dry, it is easy to use heat embossing to add a...

Make It Monday With Lilypad Lake

Hello Everyone, Welcome back!  I hope you have been having a great long weekend!  We've had a great mix of family time and catching up.  We also may have gotten a certain little toddler into a boat and fulfilled his dream--or fueled it--of owning a "big red boat". Speak of boats, this week, I am featuring the new Stampin' Up! stampset, Lilypad Lake! And here is the card I have to share with you today: To Make this Card: 1.  Cut a piece of the thick white cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4" (to...

Blended Seasons - You're the Friend Everyone Wishes They Had

Hello Everyone, Happy Friday!  First a cute picture of my cute assistant, Bentley.  That telescope in his hand was apparently his "camera" and every time I took a picture all I heard from him was "click".  It was cute until he kept moving around my backgrounds! Today, I have one last card to share with you using the Blended Seasons bundle.  I decided to stray away from the Christmas cards (haha!), and celebrate fall and friends. If I was to do it again, I think I would add a light coating of Cajun Craze over all the portions of the...

Blended Seasons - Merry Christmas

Hello Everyone!I am back again with another Christmas card. This one uses just the Blended Seasons stampset and keeps things simple!  It was looking a little too flat, but cutting out the bell and popping it up on dimensionals made all the difference in the world!  And allowed me to change the colour from Pineapple Punch to Daffodil Delight.  I love both, but Daffodil Delight made a much nicer bell!  Don't forget that this bundle is only available for a limited time.  It's available until August 31st or while supplies last!Enjoy! tams# 24708 Product List Real Red 8-1/2" X 11"...

Color Your Seasons - Merry Christmas

Hello, Welcome back!  Today I have another Christmas card to share with you--because it is never too early to start your Christmas cards!  I go thru close to 100 that I send, and more for craft fairs and the stores I sell in (Lavallee's Inverary Store and Ormsbee's Mercantile for those that live locally!), so I get a very early start by beginning in July!  And I find a lot of my class attendees are also wanting to start very early as they know that they will need to get them done in advance. I have to admit--I have discovered...
