Today I have a swap card to share with you from fellow demonstrator, Kevin Estey! I love his tropical vibe on this card!
Isn't the stacked window in the centre a great idea?
To make this card:
Cut a piece of Thick White cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Soft Suede cardstock and emboss with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. Die cut the nested label from the centre. Adhere a piece of the floral from the Tropical Oasis designer series paper to the card base that is slightly larger then the opening on the soft suede piece. Adhere the soft suede piece overtop using dimensionals. Stamp and diecut the sentiment, flowers, and pineapple. Adhere the sentiment to the centre of the window using dimensionals. Colour the stamped flowers and the pineapple using the blends (be careful to not "overcolour" because of the stazon ink--if you are having too many issues, try soft suede ink instead). Diecut and emboss the leaves from the granny apple green cardstock. Adhere the leaves, then add the flowers and pineapple using dimensionals.
