Spot Card Spotlight: Keisha Herbin-Smith

Posted by Lisa Henderson on

Today I have another swap card to share with you, this one from fellow demonstrator, Keisha Herbin-Smith.  I absolutely love the colour combo she chose!
There is just something so perfect about Green, Black and White--so crisp and clean!
To make this card:
Take a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Granny Apple Green cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.  Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp the sentiment in the corner in Memento.  Add a piece of the dotted ribbon about 1/3 of the way from the bottom and tie a knot.  Adhere to the card base.
Die cut the scalloped circle (approx. 3" in size) from Granny Apple Green cardstock.  Die cut the coordinating smaller circle in Basic Black cardstock.  Stamp the dandelions in Versamark and add White embossing powder, heat to set using the heat tool.  Tip: Hide stray pieces of embossing powder by going over them using the Basic Black blends marker.  Adhere the stamped circle to the scalloped circle.  Adhere to the card base using dimensionals to finish the card.
