Hello Everyone!
Happy Labour Day! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! Today I wanted to show you a card that I made with the students at Perth Road Public School a few weeks ago. This one uses our new Share What You Love bundle - and it is definitely a bundle I love!
We made a z-fold card, which sounds and looks complicated, but is actually pretty easy.
We did Mother's Day cards, but offered birthday cards for those that wanted something different. But either way, it's a pretty simple card--and the different colours are the exact same paper just flipped upside down!
To Make It:
1. Make the card base using Thick White cardstock. Cut the cardstock to 4 1/4" x 8 1/2". Score at 5 1/2" and at 2 3/4". Fold into a z-shape.
2. Cut the Basic Black cardstock to 2 1/2" x 4" and 5 1/4" x 4". Punch a circle 2 1/4" also in the Basic Black.
3. Cut the Designer Series Paper from the Share What You Love paper. For the small flap, cut the piece to 2 1/4" x 3 3/4". For the large background piece, cut it to 5" x 3 3/4". Adhere to the cut basic black cardstock pieces. Adhere to the card base.
4. Punch out a 2" circle in either Mint Macaron or Crumb Cake. Stamp the flower from the Share What You Love Stampset in Memento Black. Stamp the sentiment (from either the Apron Of Love stampset or the Perennical Birthdays stampset) in Memento Black. Adhere to the 2 1/4" black circle. Attach to the card base using mini dimensionals on one side only.
That's it!
Enjoy!
