Hello Everyone!
Welcome back! Today I am taking part in a blog hop with Scrapbooking Global!
I love taking part in blog hops--not only do I get more ideas, but so do you! Today's blog hop features a sketch (which is how I like to start all my scrapbook layouts)!
I was working on prepping for Christmas in July when I saw the sketch, and thought why not create a Christmas layout? So I did--and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
It's hard to tell in the photo, but the ribbon covers up the adhesive (fine tip glue pen), the only adhesive used to glue down the vellum letters!
Look at my cute little monkey? Isn't he adorable? ;)
I was able to use one of the boxes as a quick little journaling block. I don't know what it is about the pine swag, but my favourite thing to do has been to stamp it once full strength, and a second time without reinking it. I just love the look!
Now, the benefit of a blog hop, is all the other projects that I get to send you to see! Today there is 30 people taking part--make sure you check them out as these ladies are talented!
Enjoy!

Such a great Christmas layout for you upcoming class. Yes I find that I tend to find a sketch or a layout that I like and work out my version of it from that.
