Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop - Peaceful Poppies

Hello!  

Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop.  This is one of my favourite blog hops - the talent of my fellow design team members is amazing!

This month we are focusing on the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper.  This paper pack has some gorgeous patterns!  I love the rich colours!  In making this card, I really wanted to showcase the different patterns.  It may not seem like it at first glance, but I actually used 4 different patterns!  The poppy and the leaf are both diecut from the Designer Series Paper--which has a bit of a watercolour or ombre feel to it, creating diecuts with added depth.

If you have been hanging around here for a while, you may already know this, but I LOVE Blackberry Bliss, and I love polkadots!  So you knew that paper was going to make an appearance somewhere!
