Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone has been enjoying the long weekend! Today I wanted to show you a card that I made for a swap that I was in--and that we made at the last card class! I really love the Colourful Seasons stampset - it truly has something for each season!
Don't you love our new in-colours, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist?
To make this card:
1. Take a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Night of Navy cardstock and score and fold at 4 1/4" (so the final card base is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). Adhere a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock to the front, and a piece of Whisper White the same size to the inside.
2. Take a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White Cardstock--do not attach yet as some of the stamps will go off the page. Using the Colourful Season stampset, stamp the (smaller stamp) tree branches and the wood portion of the chair in Soft Suede. Stamp the chair sling in Lemon Lime Twist, carefully lining up the corners with the wood portion of the chair. Stamp the flowers in Berry Burst, keeping in mind that the flowers will fit in the missing portions of the tree branch. Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy.
3. Adhere the stamped piece to the card base. Add rhinestone basic jewels for some added bling.
And that's it! As an added bonus, this would be a super cute card in multiple colour combinations!
