Happy Monday! Hopefully you are in your craft room staying dry! Anyone else had enough of the rain already? I certainly have! And it never fails, if it's cold and wet, I need to go outside for work! Oh, well--job hazards (that definitely don't happen in my crafting business!)
Today, I want to share with you a quick and easy card that we made for our fall Crafting Retreat! Stampin' Up! came out with these Silver Edged Foil Card bases (also available in gold), and I thought it would be fun to come up with something simple. We couldn't get a ton of holiday catalog items in time, but there is actually a fair selection of holiday items in the annual catalog as well!
To Make This Card:
1. Stamp the Mistletoe image in Shaded Spruce on the Whisper White cardstock. Cut with the smooth edge oval (pick one from the layering ovals that fits around the image as shown--the very edge on the left and right will be cut off).
2. Cut the silver foil with the coordinating scalloped oval thinlit. Adhere the stamped oval to the silver foil scalloped oval. Add red rhinestones using the Take Your Pick tool (the putty end will help you place them quickly and easily!). Tie a bow using the ribbon and adhere (I like to use a glue dot to adhere ribbon).
3. Stamp Merry Christmas on the silver foil base using Real Red ink. Adhere the layered oval above using dimensionals.
