Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a fabulous Easter! We did! We got to meet my new niece Emmeriss for the first time (we've been fighting colds for over a month in this house!), and Bentley is in love with her and solely refers to her as "my Emme":
(she on the other hand looks slightly worried!). But it was a great Easter with lots of family and lots of catching up!
Today I have a card to share that we did a little while ago. I love the Myths & Magic Suite and this one uses a some of the items from it!
A perfect card for a little girl (or mermaid lover) birthday! To make this card:
1. Take a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. Cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and score at 4 1/4" (This will create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base).
2. Cut a piece of Whisper White to 3 3/4" x 5". Stamp "Hope Your Day Is Magical" in Memento Black, the bubbles in Bermuda Bay, and the Seahorse in Rich Razzleberry. Set aside.
3. On a scrap of Whisper White, stamp the mermaid in Memento Black. Colour in using the Stampin' Blends markers in Bronze (hair), Ivory (skin), Rich Razzleberry (body), and Bermuda Bay (tail). Cut out a circle using the Layering Circles Thinlits with your Big Shot. Cut out a scalloped circle also using the Layering Circles Thinlits and Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Set both aside.
4. Cut a band of the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper approx. 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" Wide. Begin assembling the card starting with the card base, then adhere the stamped whisper white piece the the sentiment. Add the Designer Series Paper Piece, and layer the two circles together. Adhere the layered circles using dimensionals.
