Hello Everyone!

Welcome back!   And Happy World Card Making Day (week!)

I am definitely celebrating this week--crafting is my favourite after all :)

This week, I am focusing on the Country Home stampset and the Country Lane Designer Series Paper as my product of the week.  We recently used the Country Lane Designers Series Paper in the grab bag for our September crop.  I am a huge fan of Blackberry Bliss as a colour, so this paper pack made me happy.

but today, for World Card Making Day, I have a card to share with you for Make It Monday!

To make this card:

1.  Take a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock, score and fold at 4 1/4" to create a  4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.  Cut a piece of the galvanized paper to 2" x 5 1/4" and run through the big shot using the Tin Tile embossing folder.  Cut a piece of the yellow checked designer series paper from the Country Lane Designer Series Paper to 2" x 5 1/4".  Adhere the two pieces to the card base.

2.  Cut a piece of the brown woodgrain designer series paper to 3" x 4".  Cut a piece of 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" Thick White Cardstock.  Stamp the flowers and the milk jug in memento ink.

3.  Use the blends to colour the stamped images.  Use the light colour to colour the image, the dark to highlight, and then the light a second time to blend.  The light smoky slate was just used to outline (and ground) the image.  Adhere the stamped piece to the woodgrain piece.  Adhere the layered piece to the card base with dimensionals.

4.  Use the light blackberry bliss marker to colour the pearls.  Once dry (it only takes a minute or two), adhere to the stamped image on the card base.

Enjoy!
