Hello Everyone!!
I hope all the mothers, biological and otherwise, and those that have wanted to be a mother but struggled, I hope you had an amazing Mother's Day! We had a relaxing day when we were home, and then Bentley and I travelled to Belleville to see my family (Trevor was on call).
Today, I have a card to share with you from our last crop at St. Lawrence College. I was inspired by some Stampin' Up! samples that were posted on Scrapbooks & Cards Today Magazine, but wanted to make it my own (which really involved adding the flamingo!). But I am in love--and I love even more that this box of Memories & More was for "babies"!
To make this card:
1. Cut the Sahara Sand cardstock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4" (to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Take the Memories & More card that has the taupe and black splotches on it and cut to 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the leaves in Emerald Envy. Adhere to the card base.
2. Cut the black and white strip (one of the Memories & More cards) to 1/2" x 4" and adhere to the card. Stamp "I love you kind of a lot" in black on the very vanilla cardstock and punch out.
3. Stamp the flamingo using Flirty Flamingo Ink and the Memento black ink. Cut out using the Paper Snips (these scissors make all the difference I swear!!!) and adhere to the card base using fine tip glue. Adhere the sentiment using dimensionals.
And that is it! Enjoy!
And speaking of crops, join our May crop!
