Just Breathe

Hello Everyone!

Oh my!  I can't believe a whole week went by!  Bentley has decided that sleeping is overrated this week.  Unfortunately, I usually work after he goes to bed--but he hasn't been falling asleep until after my bedtime!  Hopefully we're back on track this week!  If nothing else, today's card is a good reminder of what I need to do!

Thank you to everyone that made it to the catalog launch party and BOGO events!  It was great to see everyone--and everyone seemed to be happy with the deals they got!

I wanted to share the make & take we did.  This was super simple, but cute--and everyone got to pick their favourite new in-colour!

This was my take on a card from Cathy Caines.  And today I want to try a new series--Make It Monday!

To make this card (based on the Berry Burst card):

Take a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock, and score at 4 1/4" to make your card base.

Cut a piece of water colour paper to 4" x 5 1/4".

Using your aquapainter, dampen the upper 2/3 of the watercolour paper.  Then squeeze the ink into the top of the Berry Burst ink pad.  Add a drop or two of water using the aquapainter and mix, then use the mix to create the water colour wash in the background by swooshing the ink.  Allow to dry.

Stamp the "Just Breathe" from the Colourful Seasons stampset in Basic Black.

Die cut the muskoka chair from Whisper White cardstock using the chair die in the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  Adhere to the background piece using the fine-tip glue.
