Wow, this week has gotten away from me! I sat down to write this post last night, and there had been an update to my web page and I couldn't get it to do what I wanted. Sadly, I clued in tonight, when I tried to do it again, that I just needed to adjust the zoom! Oops!
This last year I have spent a lot of time building and training my team. I decided it was a) something new to me, and b) about time I focused on them! And I have to tell you, I have been enjoying every minute of it! This has allowed me to get to know my team better, have more fun stamping, and learn to delegate (I am NOT good at not having control--haha!).
The best thing I ever did was accept my downline Amanda's help. She offered to help on the way home from OnStage, and I had this sudden brainstorm about 12 hours later, to ask for help with the team meetings. So, now once a month one of my downline are responsible for the meeting make & take and providing 3-4 samples using the same stampset (and in return, they get to keep the stampset!). We started with Amanda, who has been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator probably the longest, and then I turned to my team leaders. The next one was Michelle Lavoie. She probably had the most difficult stampset so far, as she had to use the Label Me Pretty Stampset -- which is a great stampset for gift packaging, and I asked her to make cards! But she came thru, and did awesome!
