Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - Summer

Hello!

 Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.  Today I am actually sharing a layout that we did for the make & takes at our last crop.  Our theme this month for the blog hop is Summer.  And to me, nothing says Summer like flowers! 

And as an added bonus, for once I have photos.  These are my beautiful niece, Emme (or as Bentley refers to her, his "Baby Emme"--he argues with his Uncle as to whom she "belongs" to, and will correct anyone that calls her Emme and not Baby Emme, thankfully it's cute when you're only 4!).

To make this layout:

1.  Start with a piece of Whisper White 12x12 cardstock.  Add a piece of the black floral designer series paper to 12" x 8" and a piece of 1" x 12" of the pink and white striped designer series paper.  Adhere to the 12x12 Whisper White base.

2.  Cut a piece of 6 1/4" x 3" of the green leaf designer series paper and adhere approx. 1/4" from the bottom of the page and approx. 1 3/4" from the left.  Cut a piece of whisper white cardstock 6 1/4" x 8 1/2" for your photo matte.

3.  Cut a 2" x 4 1/2" piece of petal pink cardstock.  Punch with the tag topper punch.  Add the twine and stamp the name.  Adhere to the card base.

4.  Punch a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp the flower in petal pink.  Stamp the sentiment in Memento and adhere to the card base using dimensionals.
