Hello Everyone,
Welcome back everyone! Today I am back with Make It Monday, and I have a super cute and super easy Valentines card to share with you! This week I am featuring the All My Love Designer Series Paper:
I have some super cute projects to share with you this week! But for today, let's get started with a cute Valentines card. I started playing with the Hey Love stampset and I could not stop!
To start:
1. Take a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Thick White Cardstock. Score at 4 1/4" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base. Cut a piece of the red with white polka dot stripe paper from the All My Love Designer Series Paper to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base.
2. Using the sponge dauber, colour the back of the pearlized doily with shaded spruce ink. Adhere to the card base.
3. Take a 2" x 4" piece of Thick white cardstock. Stamp the alligator and sentiment from the Hey Love stampset in Memento Ink. Colour the alligator body using the Shaded Spruce blends, the tummy and spikes using the Mango Melody blends, the heart using the Lovely Lipstick blends, and the eye with the Balmy Blue blend. When using the blends, you will get the best results by working in small areas at a time. Colour the area with the light blend, then use the dark to highlight, and go over again with the light to pull the colour and blend. Notch one end of the banner and adhere to the card, approx. 1/4" from the bottom.
4. Add the sequins. And that's it!
