I hope you had a fantastic weekend! We kept things simple with routine. Sometimes you just need one of those weekends! Last week I was sharing projects using the Come Sail Away suite, and I am still featuring it this week:
Today I have a card to share that we made for a class in June. I made both a Father's Day and a Birthday card version. Today I am sharing the Birthday version!
With this card, I used the anchor in the stampset to make my own designer series paper!
To make this card, start with a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base in Crumb Cake. Stamp the anchor in Night of Navy ink randomly. Cut a 3" x 4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock and a 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. On the piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, stamp the ships and the birds in Night of Navy, then adhere to the 3" x 4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. Adhere the layered piece to the card base. Cut another piece of Night of Navy cardstock to 4 1/4" x 3/4" and layer with the twine before adhering to the card base. Cut 2 pieces of 1/2" wide Crumb Cake cardstock, stamp your sentiment, and make 2 banner on the end before adhering with a dimensional. Layer the trinket on top (I used tear tape to adhere mine).
