Adventurous Journey Layout

Lisa Henderson

Hello everyone!

I hope your week is off to a good start and that you are getting everything you need to get done, done. Today’s craft project that I want to share with you all is this scrapbook layout. It’s a little different than the usual cards, but I liked how simple yet fun this was to make!

I started this on a basic white 12 x 12 piece of cardstock. Then I layered some teal and white cardstock to create a framed space where you can fill it with pictures and memories. Before I laid these down, however, I stamped on a little canoe graphic from the Adventurous Journey stamp set and used a blending brush with some teal colouring to create a mystical and foggy look on top of it. After using this graphic to ground everything, I arranged the little framed creative spaces on top, in a “random” way to create artistic diagonal lines and visual interest.

I have listed all the tools and materials I used down below, so feel free to check that out if you are feeling inspired to recreate this!
