For those of you who like to have bright and fun colours in your crafting projects, you’ll be happy to see this one I made a little while back using the Framed Occasions stamp set!
While this may seem chaotic, it is actually well coordinated and planned out. I picked out a purple cardstock to match the dark purple in the bottom of the background cardstock to ground the centerpiece of the project. Then, I chose a magenta to match the top colour of the background rainbow cardstock to frame the highlighted area in the middle. My plan is to convert my photos to black and white for this layout.
Then to balance out the concentrated amount of colour in the layout, I added a sheet of light coloured designer series paper. And of course, as I mentioned in my last blog, I like to include a little saying to describe the content on the page, so I chose to use the “thankful we are friends” stamp from the Framed Occasion stamp set. This would make this layout perfect for collecting the memories from a friends weekend getaway or a fun birthday party!
