Bloom Where You're Planted!
Project Overview:
- Skill Level: All Levels
- Estimated Time: Approx. 45 Minutes class time for 2 pages
- This scrapbooking page design is a celebration of growth and the beauty found in every season of life. Featuring lush pears and delicate flowers layered over the richly printed "Painterly Pears" specialty paper, it evokes a sense of abundance and quiet resilience. Framed photo spaces invite cherished memories to take root, while the word "Bloom," cut from bright yellow "Darling Duckling" cardstock, serves as a gentle reminder that even through change, there is always beauty waiting to unfold. Each element is chosen not just for its visual harmony, but to reflect the tender, fruitful journey of becoming.

Step by Step Card Making Guide:
First gather your tools and supplies.
Product List
Step 1: Start with your 12" x 12" sheet of Painterly Pears DSP (large printed pears side up) as the base of your page.
Step 2: Use the small printed designs on the back of another sheet of Painterly Pairs DSP for the smaller sizes listed above. Add these vertically to your page near the left hand side coming down from the top of your page.
Step 3: Next, cut your Basic White sizes and Misty Moonlight sizes. Add the largest Misty Moonlight piece to the middle of your page and slightly to the left over the vertical pieces from step 2. Centre the larger Basic White piece at the top of this piece.
Step 4: Now, place the smaller Misty Moonlight square over the lower right hand side of the ones you just added. Centre your smaller Basic White square inside the Misty Moonlight one. You should have plenty of room for your wording in the blue space to the left of it.
Step 5: On the lower left hand edge of the large Misty Moonlight square, center a circular die cut piece of a different Painterly Pairs DSP, and cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Then using the Sweet Blooms die cut words on Darling Duckling (yellow) paper, add the word "bloom", the thicker word with the thinner version centred on it and overlapping the right edge of the circle slightly, with most of it over the blue area.
Step 6: With your three nested cutouts from the Nested Essentials Dies, add them to the top edge of your page, flat edge along page edge, in the arrangement seen in the photo. Feel free to add your own flair. Now you are ready to add your favourite photos!
Final Thoughts:
Feel free to add your own flair to your page!
