#ShareSunshine from Tamara Bertram

Hello! I hope that you are able to share Good Friday with your loved ones today, one way or another.  It may be a phone call, a zoom call, a facebook chat, or a card.  But hopefully you are able to connect, even if it is just a bit different this year then normal. My friend Tamara Bertram is one of those rare people that is always able to sense when someone needs some sunshine in their lives.  A few weeks ago, I was having a rough day with the COVID situation, I happened to go out to grab the...

Swap Card Spotlight - Diane Inkster

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Diane Inkster! Don't you love that ornate frame? Don't you love the sentiment?  And how perfect is this card for Easter?  To make this card: Cut a piece of the So Saffron cardstock to 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" to create a card base with a fold on the top.  Cut a piece of the Mossy Meadow cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base.  Cut a piece of the Whisper White cardstock to 3 3/4" x...

Sigh....

Hello Everyone!  Welcome back!  I hope you've managed to get some therapeutic time in your craft room this week!  This little sloth might just be perfect for "hump" day! Isn't he sweet?  Anyone else feeling this way though???  The weeks are definitely dragging on while COVID is still around.  Hoping this all ends soon, but in the meantime, I will be grateful that we live in a time we have tools such as Zoom and Facebook to stay connected! To create this card: Start with a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Score at 5 1/2" to create a...

Hope you're back on your feet soon.

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I have a sweet turtle to share with you!  I have to admit, as much as I designed this card, the colours are not really me.  BUT we all have to get out of our box sometimes!  What I do love, is that I had fun using the watercolour pencils to blend multiple colours for this turtle! To create this card: Start with a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" Pacific Point cardstock.  Score at 5 1/2" to create a side fold card.  Cut a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Old Olive cardstock and emboss...

Hello! I hope you all had a great weekend!  I know that it is tough to be in self-isolation right now, but I know I'm starting to get into a bit of a routine, and I hope you are too!  We might as well make the best of it.  I got some quality crafting time in this weekend (benefit of it being my job!), and I got two zoom calls in with friends, including some members of my team!  If you haven't tried zoom yet, I highly recommend it.  It has been a great way to keep in touch with...
