Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - Merry

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in a blog hop with Scrapbooking Global! I love taking part in blog hops--not only do I get more ideas, but so do you!  Today's blog hop features a sketch (which is how I like to start all my scrapbook layouts)! I was working on prepping for Christmas in July when I saw the sketch, and thought why not create a Christmas layout?  So I did--and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.   It's hard to tell in the photo, but the ribbon covers up the adhesive (fine...

Merry Christmas! in July

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  This week, I'm celebrating Christmas in July!  Today I have another Christmas card to share with you (and yes I actually start my Christmas cards this early--I need about 80 of them in December to send and about that many again to sell!).  Today I have another design using the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper and the Mistletoe Season stampset.  This one is a bit tough to photograph.... If I was to remake this card, I would restamp the mistletoe at half strength (stamp onto scrap paper first) so that the sentiment stood out better. ...

Make It Monday - It's Christmas in July

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!  It's time to celebrate Christmas in July!  I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) a card from Stampin' Up!'s demonstrator exclusive magazine, Stampin' Success and changed it up to Christmas!  I love how this card turned out--but then I am a vellum lover! Don't you just love the layer of vellum?  It gives that frosted look--the downfall is adhering vellum, but the benefit to this layout is that the adhesive is under the ribbon! Don't you love the overall look? To make this card: 1.  Cut a piece of Thick White...

It might be Saturday but....

Hello Everyone! I don't normally post on Saturday's but I had one more super cute card to share with you!  We have a monthly team meeting, and in June, we did a shoebox swap--an event where we get together to craft, and each person brings a "shoebox" with a card to teach everyone to make.  This time we did a "twist" and we CASEd (Copy and share everything) the catalog.  One of my downline, Louise Reynen, came up with this design (and kindly threaded the beads for everyone!). Isn't it cute?  Thanks to Louise for teaching us this one!  What...
