News — Beautiful You

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Today I have another swap card with the Beautiful You stampset.  I love that all these ideas are so different and so pretty with the same stampset! This card is from Andrea Stella-Tessarolo.  I love the layers that she did.  She used the petal embossing folder to create texture, and putting the silhouette on an angle really draws your eye in. I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I do!  

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Today I have another super quick and easy card that I made using the Beautiful You stampset.  This stampset is perfect for getting unique and beautiful cards. Sometimes, when I'm done a card, I realize there are one or two things I would do differently next time.  This is one of those cards.  I would definitely reduce the card size to fit on our notecards (I actually did do this, and the scale is a ton better!).  Even better, our notecards are precut and prescored making this fast card even faster! Hello! It's Friday!  And it's definitely time to celebrate in style!  I love that sentiment in the Beautiful You stampset. This is another card I created while playing with this set.  This set is one that you can keep playing with, and still have fun!  If I was to give you one tip though, it would be to make this card on Shimmery White cardstock or Watercolour Paper, as the watercolour would "glide" much better.  Thick white makes a much nicer card base, but doesn't take watercolur as well. Hello Everyone! I am back today with another swap using the Beautiful You stampset.  But this time, instead of a card, it's a calendar! This bright, fun calendar comes from Michele Salchow.  I love how different it is from yesterdays card--it really shows that not only can this stampset be used for the light, lovely moments, but also for the bright and bold! Michele also used our watercolour pencils to colour in this stamp and did a great job!  It reminds me of a fashion artists sketchbook!
