Stamp & Create Team Spotlight - Tanya Noyes

Hello! Welcome back!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  We kept things pretty quiet around here--ran some errands, attempted to clean the house (and had a 4 year old undoing it as I went), and went to swimming lessons.  I did also get a little bit of prep work done for our upcoming weekend retreat though!  I can't wait to be there!  3 days of crafting with friends--what more can a girl ask for??? This week, I decided to showcase the Brightly Gleaming Product Suite.  I can not fully explain how exceptionally beautiful the paper in this suite...

New Year's Dreams

Hello! Today may be Sunday, and chances are I am sitting pool side at swimming lessons while you read this, BUT I have a super cute New Years card to share with you. Now, normally I wouldn't necessarily do a New Year's card, but who can resist that sentiment?  "May your New Year's dream come true" Isn't it sweet?  Even after all these projects, I still love these penguins! To make this card: 1.  Cut a piece of Thick White cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11".  Score and fold at 5 1/2" to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"...

Penguin Wishes

Hello! Welcome back!  I know I don't normally post on Saturday's but I had so many projects with the Playful Penguins stampset, I didn't want to not share them! This card is actually a swap card I made for a swap (where crafters trade cards for ideas) I did with friends!  I also got to play with our new puff paint, which is so fun!! Isn't it like the penguin is pointing his beak to Merriest Wishes?  These penguins are so stinking fun! To make this card: 1.  Cut a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8...

Pretty Cards and Paper International Blog Hop for September

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Pretty Cards & Paper International Blog Hop!  This team of designers try to focus on one pack of paper to give you lots of ideas each month.  Now this month is slightly different--because Halloween isn't celebrated internationally, each designer chose 1 of 2 different paper packs--but trust me, you won't be disappointed with the inspiration! I chose to use the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper: Keeping in mind that not everyone celebrates Halloween, I chose to work with the two scroll patterns, and actually came up with a coordinating card...

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop - What Little Boys Are Made Of

Hello! Welcome back!  Today I am taking part in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is What Little Boy Are Made Of--perfect for this Boy Mama! I've been featuring the Playful Penguins stampset this week on my blog, so I thought I would play with that and our zoo photos (yep--for you regular viewers of this blog, I actually put photos on my layout in advance this month, miracles do happen!!!).  And lets face it, boys are curious (or at least mine is!) about everything!  Tonight he wanted to know how protein was made--and he's 4....I'm in...
