Make It Monday with So Hoppy Together!

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Thank you to everyone that made it out to the Crop on Saturday!  We really appreciate your support of Crop Kingston each and every month!  It is always great to see everyone, and every once in a while, I actually get some work done!  This weekend was one of those days (the cough I have may have helped with that--and knowing what a busy week I have ahead!). Today I have one of the cards we did last week for the card class on Thursday night.  This one uses this weeks product of the week, So...

Happy Birthday with Brushos

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  I was inspired today to break out my brusho again, and I love the result!  It is such an easy technique with gorgeous effects! To get this effect with Brusho, spritz the paper well to moisten it after you have heat embossed your image.  Sprinkle on the brusho, and spritz again to dissolve the Brusho crystals.  Set aside to dry (a few hours is usually good enough--or you could use a heat tool).  The heat embossed image will resist the brusho. That's it!  Enjoy! tams# 29444 Product List Birthday Statements Cling Stamp Set [148612] $30.00 Smoky...

This month, our theme is Celebration.  I wanted to use my product of the week, the birthday statements stampset, and I used it to come up with a birthday layout.  I have to say, playing with this stampset, one of my favourite techniques was heat embossing the images on vellum, and then colouring the images from the back side using the Stampin' Blends.  Colouring on the vellum really softens the colours! And the vellum made the perfect title card.  Up the side, I stamped one...
