For Your Birthday

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  I have another swap card to share with you today--this one unfortunately did not have a name in the package, which is unfortunate, especially since I wish I was this good working with the Stampin' Blends! And I love that the designer did a fancy fold card that is fairly simple - it is one that I really need to try! Enjoy! Purchase the Everything is Rosy product medley from Lisa (www.lisahenderson.stampinup.net and use host code QV9ZVVH6 or by email at stampandcreatewithlisa@gmail.com) and come to class for FREE on May 30th! Order must be placed no...

Hello Everyone! Welcome!  Today I have a technique for you!  Now, having said that, I used the stitched rectangle dies.  I would not recommend using stitched dies.  Unfortunately, with the way the floating frame technique works, there are multiple layers being cut at once.  I lucked out, and my dies are fine.  But I had to run everything through the big shot 5 or 6 times, as they are simply too intricate, and I think if you were to make too many, or they slipped the wrong way you could easily damage your dies.  But I will admit that I...

With Much Love & Thanks

Hello Everyone! Welcome back!  Sorry for the second late post in a row, but at least it's here now! Today I have a card to share with you that was my swap card for OnStage in Quebec City, Stampin' Up!'s bi-annual conference.  Demonstrators all swap cards for ideas (and honestly fun!  it's a great way to meet new people).  This one, I was a bit pressed for time, so I ended up CASEing a card from the Pink Stamper.  I loved the colours of her original--and then I realized they were retiring colours, and I ended up switching to Melon...
