Happy long weekend! I am sorry this post is a bit later than normal, but the long weekend got in the way! I am slowly ticking off my to do list though, and hopefully will get most things done this weekend.
Today, I have a new product of the week to share with you! This week I am going to concentrate on the Rooted In Nature bundle. You may remember I used this a bit when I was using the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, but there are so many possibilities with this set!
Just look how many stamps and dies there are!!!
Today, I want to share this card with you:
And here is how to make it:
1. Cut a piece of Gray Granite cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4" and fold in half to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base.
2. Cut a piece of Gray Granite cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4". Run through the big shot using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. Cut another piece of Gray Granite cardstock to 2" x 3 1/2". Use the Triple Banner Punch to notch the end. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
3. On Whisper White cardstock, stamp the wood slice in Early Espresso. fussy cut the image and set aside (tip: leave a thin white border around the image while cutting).
4. Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 3" x 4". Stamp the tree image in Tranquil Tide. Immediately stamp the tree a second time without reinking.
5. Adhere a piece of the ribbon around the plank embossed piece. Adhere to the card base using Tear Tape. Adhere the wood slice on the far right with tear tape. Layer the tree stamped image on the left, approx. 1/2" from the left using tear tape. Add the sentiment banner over top using the dimensionals.
