Hello!
Today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you. This one was inspired by a layout from Heike Hulle-Bolze. She had used the hearts in the Pleased as Punch Designer Series Paper to create a rainbow type background, and I was in love! I took her layout, rotated it, and made some other changes. Here is what I came up with - and I love it!
Both the large heart and the tiny hearts are from the Designer Series Paper. Fussy cutting those tiny hearts takes time, but they are so cute!
I did stamp the boots in each colour stripe--some turned out darker than others, but it creates the texture I was looking for. To get the stripes, simply drag your ink pad down the paper--just make sure it is well inked (lesson learned--some of mine really needed more ink!). If you wanted to transfer this look to a card, you could easily use our little Stampin' Spots! I have a photo in mind for this layout, I just need to dig it out, of Bentley and his rainbow umbrella. It will be perftect!
